Inaccuracy in Officially Licensed Merchandise

Postby AmaranthiaLunaris » Thu Sep 10, 2015 8:53 pm

As an avid collector of Princess Luna merchandise I've seen a lot of very inaccurate colors pallets and eye/wing styles with her brushables and figures. Or A greater amount of Season 1 models rather than her updated model. A lot of the time the main inaccuracy is simply her coat color being closer to the purple of twilight's coat. Slowly through the years the brushables and other figures and plush are getting closer to being that 1000% accuracy aside from the funko vinyl figures and the plush from 4th Dimension.

Some other figure/merchandise inaccuracies:

- Applejack not having her hat/ incorrect hat
- Applejack having two ponytails
- second cutie-marks being missing (aka: hasbroitis )

What inaccuracies bother you the most?
Any others you've seen?
What would you like to be seen done right with any of the merchandise?

I just want a Luna brushable with correct colors! She has one of the coolest color schemes in the show in my opinion. Another one that bugs me is when they cant get scootaloos colors right.

I know right?!?! The light pink hair drives me nuts...LOL so does the whole Luna thing. Also, Princess Celestia is usually either pink, or with pink WINGS, but on many Princess Cadance brushables, her wings aren't purple. Another thing: Twilight technically didn't get taller when she became a princess, but most of the brushables she has now are in "small princess" form...I hate those on all the princesss. I MUCH rather prefer them having the regular form, and rvrn though the Luna they made like thqt is my fave xD

Luna with the Wong color is the worst thing Ever!

Flower Whishes with/out wings.
AppleJack, Rainbow Dash and Twilight without bangs.
Cadance in bright pink.

It's all i can things right now (and it's bother me A LOT!!!!)

I feel like the eyes they use for the Brushable Twilight are a bit... off... same for Rarity.

TOTALLY. Also the eyes are a bit uneven on a lot of Pinkie blind bags. I hate the Squishy Pops too because they go all cheap on the eyes...For example:

Lyras eyes: Green (should be goldish)
Pinkie's eyes: Pink (should be blue)
Trixie's eyes: Blue (should be purple)

Ugh it drives me nuts. Also, DJ is supposed to be creamish, she is white on most of her products. Derpy is sometimes blue or completely gray, and Rarity blind bags have pink in her mane and tail. I could go on forever xD. Oh ya also, blind bag Fluttershy used to use Dashies mold...Drove me INSANE.

Cadance's color really bother me, in the show she is a really pale pink, in toys it's barbie pink.
